The color reads nearly black, warmed from beneath by the greige clay it's poured over slate, cast iron, the dark end of natural modernism. We commissioned this pen cup and catchall from Nathalie and Christophe Hurtault, made for Wms&Co. in France. They throw each piece on the wheel at their workshop in Saint Amand en Puisaye, in Burgundy,
